I used to get between 150 and 200 spam comments a week, then I switched to WP Captcha-Free and now I receive around 10 a week.

according to akismet stats, 286k were in jan alone… hmmmm, me thinks akismet might be retarded a little cos different pages here in akismet are giving me different numbers… not a single spam comment has made it through since the new captcha
its retarded but it works well for stopping spam thats for sure!
