This is a small step-by-step guide to increase your Technorati rank overnight.
First some background information. The Technorati rank is an index of popularity of your blog based on the number of the blogs that link to your blog, you can see the current rank by clicking here.
So the more links poiting to your blog, the better. Unfortunately not all the links are credited by Technorati, so we need to help them a little bit 
- Find all the URLs that have a link to your blog, you can do this with Xenu, Yahoo! Site Explorer or even this tool
- Use any pinging tool to ping each URL to: http://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping
- Watch your ranking increase!

I have just started my blog and was looking into boosting the Technorati rating as well. I have a question for you - do you know what the other factors that increase the rating are besides “the other blog links”?

I’m pretty sure that only the links, but it depends on the importance of the link. The higher the ranking of the site that is linking you, the higher your Technorati rank will increase
